PECO to Restrict Business U.S. 30 and U.S. 322 Weeknights for Utility Improvements in Downingtown Borough, Chester County

King of Prussia, PA – PECO is scheduled to restrict U.S. 30 and U.S. 322 weeknights in Downingtown Borough, Chester County, on Monday, August 28, through late September, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) at the U.S. 322 (Brandywine Avenue) Intersection; and
  • Lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound U.S. 322 (Brandywine Avenue) between Jefferson Avenue and Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
